Saturday Night Live Parodies Eminems Stan With New Christmas Skit Stu

Pete Davidson writes increasingly aggressive letters to Santa Claus.
Saturday Night Live got in the Christmas spirit this weekend with a new skit called “Stu.” The sketch stars Pete Davidson, who parodies Eminem’s 2000 hit, “Stan,” while writing a series of increasingly aggressive letters to Santa. Kate McKinnon guest-stars as Dido, while Bowen Yang steps in to play Elton John. All three musicians try to help Stu get a PS5 from Santa. Eminem even makes a guest appearance.

As he continues to not hear back from Santa, Stu grows increasingly enraged:

As he continues to not hear back from Santa, Stu grows increasingly enraged:
Dear Santa, I noticed you never wrote me a letter back
That’s fine dawg, except not really, I think it’s kinda wack
If you can’t help your biggest fan, then you should just retire
Or next time you slide down my chimney I’ll set your ass on fire
Meanwhile, McKinnon sings:

Stu is waiting for his surprise
To open up a PS5
He just really wants to play
‘Assassin’s Creed’ on Christmas
But he can’t buy it himself because he lost his job
‘Cause he was stealing from his boss
The lyrics parody Em’s original song, where he raps from the perspective a crazed fan writing obsessive letters to Em. The song went double Platinum and forever defined the word “stan” as a shorthand term for an obsessed fan.
