Over nine months after announcing the project, Quando Rondo and YoungBoy Never Broke Again have finally delivered their first-ever joint mixtape, 3860. The pair have collaborated on numerous singles since 2018, including “I Am Who They Say I Am” and “This for The,” but they have never teamed up for an entire album. The project was preceded by four singles—“It’s On,” “Give Me A Sign,” “Keep Me Dry,” and “Cream Soda”—and features one guest appearance from rapper Lul Timm.

3860 takes its name from YoungBoy’s native N. 38th Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips in Los Angeles, California, that Quando was formerly affiliated with. Whereas Quando handles five of the tracks on his own, YoungBoy has no solo cuts on the mixtape. There are still been plenty of YoungBoy songs to go around this year, though—the MC released over 100 songs and dropped seven other full-length projects in 2022, six of which charted on the Billboard 200. For Quando, on the other hand, 3860 marks his first mixtape since 2021’s Still Taking Risks.
