It’s subtle but sexy and sporty at the same time. When I wear it, it feels as though I’m fully leaning into utter indulgence. For daytime, I reach for Frédéric Malle’s Bigarade Concentree. It is dominated by bitter orange, which is a nostalgic scent for me having grown up visiting central Florida. As soon as we neared my family’s home, my siblings and I would stick our heads out the window and breathe in the intoxicating scent of the orange groves—Frédéric Malle’s fragrance evokes that memory. But since it is so fresh, I prefer a richer scent like Sigil’s Anima Mundi at night. It smells of smoky roses and I never tire of it.
